Are you sick and tired of seeing gas costs continue to increase to where they are almost $4 a gallon? By the day more billions in profitearnings are being made by the oilmen, while ordinary folk find it increasingly challenging to put gas in the tank and generally sweat at stretching their budgets to previously unheard of limits. Would you like to find a better way to run your car, or is there some type of unwritten principle that a car can only be operated with gasoline?
Many products have gotten to the testing stage in the past, but have then been stopped dead simply because they would adversely impact profits from oil. Every time you stop at the gas pump and look at the dollar total climb, you probably curse scientists for not having found a better and cheaper way to power cars. Have you noticed the adverts on the Internet about a car that can run on water? A poor joke – or perhaps certainty? Actually there are car companies who are working on this possibility, and the future of the automobile is that it may run on hydrogen produced by water.
We have all seen the devastating result of the power of uncontrolled water, so it’s no stretch to picture water pressure being used to change hydrogen and oxygen. Cars like this already exist, however the public is definitely not aware of them. Before the electric car came to be used by the public,it was more than two decades. Currently, there is more than a year’s waiting list for the Smart Car of America, which works just on electric energy. There is undoubtedly a need to get rid of gas cars for those that run on something altogether different.
Quite some time ago, a conveniently cheap form of energy for cars was petrol, and for houses so was natural gas. Pollution from gas has gotten out of control, while buyers of both forms have had to pay increasing prices. The guys who get blamed a great deal, because they drew our focus to the problem, are the environmentalists, but in fact we should thank them because our air is a lot better than it would have been otherwise. They were the ones that put up with the name calling and even worse, to ensure that the earth’s water and air remained clean. The addition of ethanol to gas causes it to run cleaner, and who do we have to thank because of this breakthrough but these folk. We should want to do much more, though, because oil prices, substantial as they are already, keep going up, and the significant portion of our oil needs are met by foreign suppliers.
If a car that runs on hydrogen and the burning of oxygen grew to be a reality, that would minimize our dependence on foreign oil suppliers and possibly produce that blissful state where we didn’t need them at all. It must seem like something from beyond the realms of practicality, but just how good would it be if a car ran on basic tapwater? Autos which will run on hydrogen are already being experimented on by both Ford and Chevy. Years into the future, when their hydrogen-driven cars are finally brought out, the waiting list will probably be miles long.
